A 2100 error occurs when our license is unable to be saved.

This is a result of the Mac OS changing the permissions on our DFX licensing folder during a major operating system update. To resolve the problem, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Uninstall the DFX software by going to /Applications/Tiffen/ProdcutName and running the Uninstall program.
  2. Go to /Macintosh HD/Library Application Support.
  3. Delete the Tiffen folder.
  4. Install the Tiffen software and activate it using Internet Activation.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recent changes to Mac OSX 10 required that we modify our license manager. This affects activating and deactivating.

If you receive a 2110 error, please follow the manual install for the license manager below.

Manually install the license manager

- Download the license manager from: HERE
- Double-click on the file that is downloaded.
- When the window opens, double-click on the FxLicenseManager.pkg and run through the install process.
- Start the Digital Film Tools software and try activating using Internet Activate.
