On Windows, why doesn't my Wacom mouse select anything in the Dfx interface?

The Windows user interface toolkit that we use for Dfx expects tablet devices to be in pen mode. As a result, using the Wacom mouse in mouse mode (the default) will not work as expected. To get around this, you must set the Wacom mouse to be in pen mode for use with Dfx. You can do this by:
  • From the Windows Start Menu, select Wacom Tablet > Wacom Tablet Properties
  • In the Application section, select +, choose Browse and navigate to C:\Program Files\Tiffen\Dfx v3.0.
  • Select Dfx.exe, click Open and then OK.
  • In the Tool section, select Mouse.
  • Select the Mapping tab and switch the mode from Mouse to Pen.
