When using the Macintosh Dfx v2 Standalone, why can't I see my external hard drives in the file browser?

For Dfx v2, we had to use our own file browser instead of the native Mac OSX file browser. However, our file browser does not show you /Volumes by default, which is where your external hard drives are located. Currently, we are working on this issue. In the meantime, you have a few workarounds:
  1. You can drag and drop the file from the external hard drive onto the Dfx interface or Dfx icon.
  2. For Dfx v2.0, highlight the text in the "Look In" field and type /Volumes and hit Return. This will show you your external hard drives.
  3. For Dfx v2.0.1, expand the "Look In" field pop-up menu and select /Volumes. This will show you your external hard drives.
